Biscuit Sticks



Ingredients:

1/4 cup butter
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 to 2/3 cup milk


Preparation:

1. Place butter in a 9 inch square baking pan.
2. Place in a 425 degrees F oven for 4 minutes or until melted.
3. Remove from the oven. Set aside. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl.
4. Gradually add enough milk to form a soft dough. On a floured surface knead 4-5 times.
5. Roll out into an 8 inch square. Cut in half with a sharp knife. Cut each half into 8 strips.
6. Dip each strip into melted butter in pan, carefully turning to coat. Arrange in rows in pan.
7. Bake at 425 degrees F for 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
