Tomato Biscuits


3 cups all-purpose baking mix
1, 8 ounces, can Italian tomato sauce
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon granulated sugar


1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Combine and mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
2. Turn on to surface dusted with baking mix. Knead 10 times.
3. Roll or pat dough to 1/2 inch thick. Cut with 2 inch biscuit cutter.
4. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown.
5. Serve with honey butter. Made by combining 1/2 cup soft butter with 1/4 cup honey.
