Walnut and Cheese Biscuits



Ingredients:

1 egg
90g butter
90g cheese
125g walnuts
pinch nutmeg
salt and pepper
3/4 cup plain flour


Preparation:
In a large bowl put the flour and with your finger tips rub in the butter and then add the grated cheese and seasonings and mix them really well. Get a spoon and take spoonfuls of the mixture and roll into balls and then roll them into beaten egg and then in the finely chopped walnuts. Lightly grease trays and put the Walnut And Cheese Biscuits on them and bake them in a moderately hot oven for 15 minutes or until golden. Let biscuits cool on a wire rack.
