Rhubarb-Strawberry Pie

        

           **crust**

      3 c  flour

      1 c  crisco

      3 T  butter

      1 T  c&h sugar

      1 t  salt

      1 T  vinegar

      1 ea egg,beaten

    1/3 c  ice water

           **filling**

      3 c  rhubarb

  1 1/2 c  strawberries

      3 T  minute tapioca

  1 1/2 c  c&h sugar

    1/8 t  salt

Crust:  This is enough crust for 2 pies.  One double crust and one

single crust.

 

Filling:  Fill crust with fruit and rest of ingredients.  Put on top

crust and brush with egg wash (1 egg with 1 tablespoon water).  Bake at

400 for 20 minutes then reduce heat and bake 45 minutes longer.
