BRAZILLIAN SQUASH



Ingredients:

• 2 c. mashed cooked Hubbard or Butternut squash
• 1 tsp. salt
• Few grains pepper
• 1 tbsp. sugar
• 1 tbsp. heavy cream
• 1 tbsp. butter
• 2 1/2 tbsp. brown sugar
• 1/3 c. chopped Brazil nuts
• 1/8 tsp. cinnamon



Preparation:

Combine squash, salt, pepper, sugar and cream. Put in a greased baking dish.

Melt together butter and brown sugar. Add cinnamon and nutmeats. Cook slowly until nuts are coated, stirring constantly. Sprinkle on squash. Bake at 350 degrees 20-25 minutes.
