Broccoli in Cheese Sauce 1


One 16 ounce bag of frozen broccoli cuts
One 24 x 12 inch sheet of heavy duty foil, lightly sprayed with nonstick cooking spray
One 10 3/4 ounce can of condensed cheddar cheese soup
1 medium red or yellow bell pepper, cut into 1 inch pieces
1/4 cup of chopped onion
1/4 cup of milk
1 1/2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon of black pepper


Preheat oven to 450°F. Place the broccoli in center of sheets of foil, Fold foil up around broccoli to create pan. Combine the soup, bell pepper, onion, milk, Worcestershire sauce and black pepper in medium bowl, stir to blend. Pour over broccoli. Double fold sides and ends of foil to seal package, leaving head space for heat circulation. Place packet on baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes or until the vegetables are tender. Remove from oven. carefully open one end of packet to allow steam to escape. Open packet and transfer broccoli mixture to serving bowl. Makes 6 servings
