Carrot Cake Bars

Ingredients:

1 (17 oz.) box date bread quick bread mix
1/4 c. firmly packed dark brown sugar
1 c. orange juice
1/3 c. butter, melted
1 egg
2 c. shredded carrots
1 c. chopped walnuts
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon


Preparation:

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease and flour 9x13 inch baking dish.

In medium bowl, combine bread mix, brown sugar, orange juice, melted butter, and egg. Add carrots, walnuts, and cinnamon. Stir just until combined; do not over mix. Pour mixture into baking dish. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from oven to wire rack and cool completely.
