Cheesy Quesadillas


275 g / 10 oz cups masa barina
250 - 350 ml oil for frying
finely shredded lettuce, to garnish
225 g / 8 oz chopped or grated mature Cheddar cheese
3 jalapeno chillies, seeded and cut into strips


1. Fisr take some large bowl. Pit masa harina with 250 ml of the water to make a dough. Cover and set aside for 15 minutes. 2. Then ty to shape the dough into balls, using a tortilla press. Mix the cheese and chillies together in a bowl. 3. Heat the oil in the pan. 4. Fold the tortilla over the filling and seal the edges by pressing or crimping them together. 5. The food is ready to be served hot, with a garnish or lettuce.
