4 boneless white fish fillets, fresh or frozen
4 medium potatoes, peeled
1 cup oil
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder

If using frozen fish, thaw in a dish filled with milk.
Dry with a paper towel.
Shred the potatoes.
Heat oil in a skillet.
Take the shredded potatoes and form a coating around the fish until the entire fish is encased in shredded potato.
Sprinkle salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder over the fish.

Place fish in frying pan and cook on each side for about 2-3 minutes, or until each side is golden brown.
Remove fish and set on a plate with paper towels to drain off any excess oil.
Suggestion: Serve with rice and steamed vegetables.
