Frozen Fruit Yogurt


4 c (2 pints) washed, halved strawberries, sliced bananas or peeled peaches or nectarines
1 qt Unflavored yogurt
1 tb Vanilla
1 1/2 c Sugar
1/4 ts Salt


Puree fruit in blender until smooth (makes 3 cups puree). Combine sugar, vanilla and salt in large bowl. Stir in pureed fruit. Pour into 1 gallon freezer. Cover. Freeze with ice-salt mixture in proportions recommended for freezer. When yogurt is frozen, pour off brine. Remove cover and scrape frozen yogurt from dasher.
