Mexican RIce

Ingredients:

1/2 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic
2 Tbsp oil
1 cup uncooked white rice
2 cup beef bouillon broth
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin
1/4 cup tomato sauce


Preparation:

1. Saut, onion and garlic in oil briefly in medium saucepan.

2. Add rice and saut, lightly.

3. Stir in broth, chili powder, cumin, and tomato sauce. Bring to a rapid boil.

4. Reduce heat and simmer covered 25 minutes or until all of the liquid is absorbed.

Makes 3 cups.
