BBQ Tempeh Burgers

2 (8 oz.) pkg. tempeh, thawed
1 c. Salsa-Style Grilling Sauce or medium-hot prepared salsa
2 c. low-calorie Russian dressing
8 whole wheat burger buns, split
Lettuce leaves, sprouts and sliced red onion rings for garnish

Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Separate the tempeh squares. Cover a large baking sheet with aluminum foil and place the 8 squares of tempeh on it. In a small bowl, combine grilling sauce or salsa and Russian dressing. Spread half the sauce liberally over the tempeh.
Bake for 30 minutes, then turn tempeh over and spread with remaining sauce. Bake 15 more minutes, then transfer to a preheated grill. Grill 10 minutes, or until lightly browned, basting with extra sauce. Toast the buns, then fill each with tempeh and sauce. Garnish with lettuce, sprouts and onion. Serves 8.
