Pork Chops with Apple Gravy


4 pork chops
1 oz butter
2 Tbs olive oil
1 onion
1 Tbs flour
1 beef stock cube
1 cup apple juice
1 large green apple


1. Heat the butter and olive oil in pan

2. Add peeled and sliced onion, cook until the onion is transparent and remove from pan

3. Add the pork chops, cook until brown on both sides and remove from pan

4. Add flour to the pan, cook stirring for 1 min

5. Add crumbled stock cube and apple juice

6. mix well and stir until the sauce boils and thickens

7. Reduce the heat, return the chops and onions to the pan

8. Peel the apple, slice thickly and place it over the pork chops

9. Cover the pan, cook over low heat for 15-20 minutes or until the pork chops are tender
