Garlic Lime Pork Chops


1/3 cup fat-free Italian salad dressing
1/3 cup salsa
4 1/2 teaspoons lime juice
4 1/2 teaspoons minced fresh cilantro or parsley
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 1/4 teaspoons grated lime peel
1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
6 boneless lean pork loin chops


1. Mix all the ingredients (except for the pork chops) in a bowl

2. Pour 1/2 cup of the mix into a large plastic container and add the pork chops

3. Seal the container (make sure the pork chops are covered) and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight

4. Cover and refrigerate the remaining marinade

5. Drain and discard the marinade from pork chops

6. Place the pork chops on a broiler pan rack and broil 4 in. from the heat for 7 minutes on each side or until juices run clear

7. Apply the reserved marinade while broiling
