Southern Style Pork Chops


5 pork chops
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. lard
1 tbsp. green pepper, chopped
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. water
Celery salt
Onion seasoning, to taste
3/4 c. whole kernel corn
1/2 c. rich cream sauce or tomato sauce


Dredge chops in flour; brown on both sides in hot lard. Place in buttered baking dish. Drain off part of drippings in which pork was cooked.

Add corn, green pepper, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, water, and seasonings. Pour over chops. Bake about 1 hour in moderate oven. Serve with applesauce.
