Baked Sweet Potato


6 lg. sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into thick slices
1 tsp. salt
1 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. butter
6 lg. marshmallows
1 c. half & half or light cream
2 tbsp. flour
Chopped nuts (optional) We prefer pecans but use whatever you like.


Mix salt, sugar and flour together and sprinkle over sweet potatoes. Dot with butter. Add marshmallows and cream. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 - 45 minutes. Check with a fork for tenderness. Sprinkle with chopped nuts after baking.
