Pumpkin Applesauce Tea Bread


2 c. sugar
1/3 c. molasses
1 c. pumpkin, mashed
1 c. applesauce
2/3 c. oil
3 eggs
1/3 c. milk
3 2/3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins


At medium speed, beat together the first 7 ingredients, then add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into 2 well-greased 9 x 5 inch loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cool 10 minutes in pans. Wrap in foil and store overnight.
