Fresh Fruit Punch

Yield 12 Servings
2 c Sugar
1 c Water
1 bottle Dry white wine
1 bottle Sparkling water -
-(1.5 liters)
6 c seeded watermelon,Chopped
1 c mango (or papaya),Chopped
1 c pineapple,Chopped

Combine the sugar and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the syrup is clear. Set aside to cool. Combine the syrup, wine, and sparkling water and stir well.
Add the remaining fruit and serve cold.
This recipe yields 12 to 16 servings.
