Grilled Steak with Hot Sweet Onions


3 lg. onions, cut into 1/4 inch thick slices
2 tbsp. honey
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 beef loin T-bone or Porterhouse steaks, cut 1 inch thick


Arrange sliced onions on a large square of heavy duty foil. In small bowl, combine honey and mustard; drizzle over onions. Sprinkle with salt, paprika, and pepper. Fold foil loosely around onions and seal edges tightly. Grill packet on covered grill, over medium hot charcoal briquets, 20 minutes or until onions are tender; turn once. Slash any fat around edges of steaks every 4 inches. About 5 minutes after onions start to grill, place steaks on grill with onion packet. Grill 8 to 10 minutes on each side for medium rare. Serve onions on top of each steak.
