Cheddar Steak

Ingredients:

1 - 1 1/2 lbs. round steak
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Oil
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese


Preparation:

Cut steak into 4 pieces. Combine flour, salt and pepper. Dip steak pieces into flour and brown in oil. Place pieces in shallow baking dish. Put one onion slice on each piece. Pour mixture of tomato sauce and garlic powder over steak. Bake 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Sprinkle each piece with cheese. Bake until cheese melts.
