4 c. sugar
4 c. water
2 oz. freeze dried coffee
1 qt. vodka (the better the vodka the better the kahlua)
1 vanilla bean


Step 1: Boil sugar and water 20 minutes. Add coffee and simmer a few minutes.

Step 2: Pour into dark glass container. Cut up vanilla bean and put into container. Add vodka.

Step 3: Store in dark, cool place for 2 weeks.
